Forensic Digital Photography Course Description
Forensic Digital Photography for Law Enforcement is a 3-day hands-on course that will prepare an evidence technician or accident investigator to (1) maximize the use of their digital SLR or mirrorless camera to best document evidence, and (2) to establish a system to protect digital image integrity and successfully manage courtroom challenges.
Basic photography principals will be reviewed, and participants will learn advanced techniques designed to maximize the benefits of a digital camera, including on-scene application under a variety of real-life conditions. In addition, they will learn how to establish and follow a digital workflow to ensure digital image integrity is maintained.

Class duration: 21 hours (3 days)
Prerequisites: must have a digital single lens reflex (DSLR) or mirrorless camera to bring to class
Cost: $600 per enrollee ($550 with early paid registration) – Qualifies for MCOLES 302 funding reimbursement
